Here's what I would enter into the first round of my own contest if I actually could. (Theme: Monochromatic World. Only 4 instruments allowed)

Just thought I might as well do one of these for each round of the contest for fun. Also, considering Scott's absurdly awesome and inspiring artwork, I can get good ideas.

I feel like I'm adrift on the waves of time, watching all the chaos and memories just melt away, the inaudible noise describing what truly happens in the scenes as they float past. soon, all the memories fade away, leaving me stranded and alone, adrift amongst the flowing of time...
...
at least, that's what this song makes me imagine in my mind. one of the few ambient songs that actually make me think like I did in my imagery. great job, I look forward to more songs in the future.

Thank you! I've made a few other ambient pieces of music which some people have said give imagery, but this definitely has the best overall atmosphere of them if I do say so myself. :)

I hope to be putting out another piece of music which has a similarly good atmosphere soon.

I'd highly recommend you check out the artwork which inspired this, I think that it's an incredible piece of art which also creates a mood extremely well!

Great sound. It's mysterious yet has a hint of romance and chaos. The piano sounds very pure too. I really like it! Great overall sound!

Had to share the imagery :3 Here it is:

There is very nice ambiance throughout the piece. Some hints of mystery and wonder here and there. The instruments you have, and the way in which you use them, actually exhibit a very undefined color, sprinkled all over the place in an organized fashion.
This is pretty much the epitome of one particular take on this theme, Monochromatic World. You've got this one color here, but it is quickly taken away, fading so quick that you forget it was there in the first place, kind of like how you add in shades of white and black to change the shade of the chosen color without altering its hue. A soft, and definitely intriguing piece.
