Easy Listening - Classical

Author Comments

Finally had time to put together another song! :)

Didn't know whether to call this one Ambient or Classical, as it's pretty quiet for a while but slowly gets more orchestrated and classical.

The inspiration of this song is a person standing at the front door, about to walk out onto the dark, rainy street. It's cold, wet, and scary and they don't want to have to go out there and leave the comfortable shelter behind. However despite the dreary appearance they still have to set out into the rain and try and find their way, and find hope something good will come out of it in time.

It was the first time I actually tried to put a theme into a purely instrumental song so I doubt it would shine through without being explained. Also I try to sound as deep as the song :P

This was made in Mixcraft 6 in a few days. It was originally just four notes on a piano, and I just kept changing the chord they were on, however it gets pretty orchestrated later on. It was still mostly just sticking with whatever chords I happened to play on the piano. I also tried to use a lot more dynamics and such than I have in the past.

Listen, download, comment, Enjoy!

I really like the soothing nature of this song. It took few days??? Yes it should take few days thats why it is a great to listen. I like the chord progression and tend to differ that its repetitive as the kind of music as of this one needs to take its time to build up while keep revolving around the main idea. Keep it up man!

Yeah the ambience was supposed to come from it being really slow to change and build and very slowly bring new things into the main concept, and it turned out to be the best song I've written because I didn't try to stuff everything in at once :)

This was a veeery soothing song! I listened to it right before bed and had a great sleep!
I loved the piano melody, and how the background instruments meshed it all together perfectly!
Keep up the great work!

Very nice melodies, calming and smooth.
Repetitive a bit though.
A bit of fuzzy sound quality but that's nothing much.
:) keep it up!

Fuzzy sound? Weird... D:
I think that might just be the Water Flute instrument I used in the quiet parts? It kinda has an airy sound. I'm pretty sure it wasn't clipping or anything like that. Oh well lol
