A sort of bouncy, lighthearted forest level theme I worked on a few days ago for the sake of practice (and fun, of course :P)

Well, back to practicing!

This is perfect game music! I can't believe it's not at a higher score than it is~!

makes me want to animate/program something just to go with it . . but I'm not an animator

or a programmer.

GREAT job =]

Thanks so much! High scores are nice, but there are always things to improve upon. I'll just keep trying to make better stuff as time goes along, and maybe eventually they'll be useful for something! :3

Cutesy stuff!
I think you have some pretty nice melodies going on! Memorable, too. I will most likely have this stuck in my head for the next day or so. I like the adventuresome feel you have going on here :D I can't really think of one thing I don't like. For the most part, your sounds mesh very nicely.

At 1:00-1:12, the melodies of the violin and flute(?) thing clash just a bit awkwardly, maybe too busy for a part where it sounds like things are supposed to change direction and calm down for a section.
Other than that, this makes for more than great practice! ^__^ (and very theme-y indeed. good job.)
Fun, fun!

Deemo-R responds:

Thank you for the review! <3
I personally believe melodies are my stronger point when compared to my overall harmonies/structure, but I'm glad these were able to resonate with you for this piece! And yeah, that is a flute doing a bit of counterpoint(ish?) stuff against the violin, but it is admittedly a bit loud. I might've been a bit too quiet with the violin, too, though it's not dreadfully quiet at that part xP
