It was an awesome idea, and your remake is great. But you might have gone overboard with the static. I think it is really freaken awesome!
Most of these guys are pricks and do not even know how to make a song, play an instrument, so do not take what they say seriously man!
Is it possible to edit the song, fix the static, and re-release it. Now that would be sick!
