For Now, Goodbye (Improv)

As I go through life, my love of travel only grows. With each trip comes new friends and experiences, and I always return home a different person with fresh perspectives and memories to cherish. But with each journey is also a goodbye to the people that have been brought into my life. It's a bittersweet thing, traveling. People come and go, and I can only hope to see them again in the future.

Thinking about what to name this raw improvisation, these are the thoughts that came to mind. I hope you enjoy.

This composition is lovely, it fits it's title and sounds emotional.
May I ask permission to use this in an opening sequence in my short film? It's not an official film but a college project I've produced.

BlazingDragon responds:

Hi, and thanks for your kind words! Feel free to use this piece in your college project as long as you clearly credit me as "Trevor Crookston". Also, if you happen to post the video online anywhere, please shoot me a link. :)

Best of luck!

I find that improvisation makes the greatest songs, and the most emotional ones. The mood was accurate to the title name, and i cannot wait to hear more from you.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you so much!

I love the wavey feeling that we get from the dynamics. Keep up the amazing work and I can't wait to hear more :)

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks for leaving a review! Keep an eye out for more in the near future. :)

Well done!

A really nice track. The mood is exactly as the title describes. It is a little bit melancholic while still with a very poitive touch. No dispensable notes - everything fits for me :D Nice velocity- and speed. Very touching. I really love the variantly quite powerful and reflicting parts ... darn expressive and emotional.

Added to fav, dl and from me as piano-lover: 5/5

All the Best!

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Chris! Your piano chops really blow me away, and what you did with Café de Paris is darn impressive. That said, your review is that much more meaningful to me. :)

Thanks for the fav, download, and review!

amazing song! audio quality seems a bit off though. bad compression?

BlazingDragon responds:

I don't know much about mastering and ran the final recording through the FL Studio Soundgoodizer. That could definitely be a part of it.

Thank you!
