Testing out some new sounds. what do you think?

Along the same lines of the gentleman who reviewed before me, this does feel a little...bland? No that's not right, maybe boring? Well it's not necessarily boring either, it's just empty I guess. I mean I enjoy the sound of the strings in the background, as well as the bass drum and various percussion instruments in the background. My biggest gripe is the loop point, far too abrupt to make it hard to detect, which is what I look for in loop points. Transitions seem to be your weak point, nothing to be ashamed of, just something to look for in the future.
Overall enjoyable, if a tad rough around the edges.

Ritz190 responds:

Thanks and you'd be right. Transitions for me can be a bit tricky. specially in genres where I have no idea what I'm doing. well either way, I agree with how empty it sounds. and the loop. ah, that was my bad. but hey. live and learn. Thanks alot for the input. I appreciate it and I'll be sure to put the new sounds to better use.

I like the instruments and melody, but it's very repetitive and lacks substance. It doesn't loop that well, and the transitions between the strings and music box, like at :15, are a little rough. I think you have a strong structure here- it just needs to be smoother, as well as a little more engaging. Couldn't hurt to vary it more, either. Pretty good start, though. ;)

Ritz190 responds:

Thanks. yea it was a test to see how well things meshed together. I don't plan on doing too much with it since it was just a test, but I see where you're coming from and I appreciate the criticism, dude!
