Finally conquering my fear of beats. And continuing my trend of submitting in different genres. If you've listened to a few of my older songs, you'll probably notice this is way different than what I usually do.

Also this song kills all my older songs.

nice slicey breaks here. is always fun. the piano cuts are a favourite of mine. add some real ambience here. wonky synth is cool. the structure of that mid part is great. the beat lacks a little punch to my drunken ears, maybe the lead synth is too high, dunno, the beat seems a little hidden at the end. my ears are mashed however. really good'yun tho, good energy, catchy, well done. 4 and a half because you can prolly do better.

Thanks for dropping by and reviewing. I think you're right about the beat, I wasn't quite sure how to do DnB I guess. Actually relistening to it you're exactly right, the beat needs WAY more presence in the second half. IDK what I was thinking. Well, at least I'll know now for next time.

I really like your justification for 4.5 over 5. I need you to pretty much say the thing on all of my new songs so that I can constantly be pushed to do better. thanks a lot for the review and dropping by.

I like this a lot. I like the changes you have in this song such as the buildups and drops. They keep it from getting stale as well as take the audience off guard for what to expect next. The only thing I would have added was a strong bass on the downbeat at the main parts, but that's just me.

This song reminds me of the tracks that you hear on Toonami promos. I can imagine Peter Cullen narrating over this easily. Great job! Show them beats who's boss!

Thank you for dropping by and listening :-)

Your point about bass on the downbeats is interesting. I actually had that earlier, back when the chorus was a lot darker, but I felt that removing the bass gave it a more energetic feel. I suppose it's something to think about. Thanks for the review!
