i shall write a short yet constructive review;
the starting is kinda simple yet can be effective. the use of white noise is good, it fills a track.
and like i said earlier i really like those african-kinda drum hits lol
what i DO miss is a real good bass o.o no offense to your track but a song can sound really different once a bassline is added, in a positive way lol.
so im not sure why you havent taken your time to create a good one.

the pitching is good too, i dont mind if its used allot, its a fun thing to do right? atleast i find it a fun thing to add lol
so yea the intro is pretty standard but it works. untill the 1 min mark, thats where i want some bass to kick in.

on to the break as i already said something about pitch lol
its good but again, i miss some kind of sine bassline.. just to give it more powah and emotion.
the buildup is steady with the drum hits again. really nice addition. however the pitching comes unexpected. you might want to end your breakdown FIRST and than slowly build your pitch bend up or down or whatever so it doesnt interfear with any violin.

on to your climax, its kinda simple, but it works better with a beastly bassline or something.
just like i said earlier.
bass doesnt only fill a song, it also become a living piece of art lol.

I think the reviews are not that helpful just because of the fact that some people (admittedly myself included) don't like Dutch house or don't know much about it.

The production quality is quite good. White noise is being used well too, love that. I do think the drums are a bit weak though (the kick and clap in particular).

The octave changing lead is a signature of dutch house, but since I don't like dutch house anyway, I'm probably bias about it. I would say it works for what you were aiming for. Perhaps you should add some porta to it though, since most dutch house tracks have some sort of sliding with their leads.

Bias aside, this is quite a well-produced track. I just think you need to find better percussion samples when working with this genre because it does play quite a big role. Anyway, keep it up and don't mind my bias (I tried ignoring it as much as possible) :)

ForeverBound responds:

thanks for your review and u are probably right Dutch house isn't a really big genre and not a lot of people like it. also next house track is gonna be with more melody and less like this.

What I think Backspace is trying to say is, that you need to use more techniques that a house artists arsenals uses. Try some kick sidechaining the bass and leads. Maximize the master track for mastering to bring more power to your mix. Use some more compression on the drums. That is for the technical aspect. You are not a bad musician. Keep it up, and you will create great songs!

ForeverBound responds:

lol well the kicks are already compressed pretty hard also some sidechain might work but i like a bit of reverb like it is now more also i think i forgot something now u said about maximizing will try to do that as soon as possible

also thank u for the review

not bad...but not good

ForeverBound responds:

What isn't good at the song explain to me please why it isn't good and why you only give me 1,5 stars ? because saying it's bad but not saying why it is bad is a really shitty review and i don't learn anything from that. so please define on which thinks u have based your opinion because now i don't have something to work on and it still remains "bad"
