It sounds like you are using Drummix Metal and a Synth-based guitar or something similar.
You would honestly be better grabbing Shreddage 2 (for Kontakt/Kontakt Player) and Amplitube Metal for a realistic sound. Infact, you could get away with running Shreddage 2 as a Lead, rythem and bass in one go if know what to tweak around and if you have the CPU power to run 3 instances of it without any problems along with your drum VST and other sounds.
Superior Drummer 2.0 with The Metal Factory expansion would be an incredibly strong choice not just for Metal drums but for any other non-electronic based genre (You cooooould put a vocoder over it and make some funky electro-industrial though...) :P
Obviously, it costs money and to be honest it would only be worth it if you want to make realistic-sounding metal without having to record yourself playing everything individually. I do have two tracks called DeathRitual and River-Ov-Despair which do use the above software if you want to get a 'guestimate' of what the software would sound like.
