I have to be honest, I didn't get too much out of this song, but that just might be me. You have some good idea, but they repeat really often and it becomes very repetitive.
Now repetition is a funny thing. It can be a musicians best friend if used correctly, and yet can be their worst enemy if used in the wrong way.
I like the intro, but you have it going for like 33 seconds without anything else happening, leaving the audience stranded in a way. At 3:20 the bass and the piano kinda hurt my ears and I don't think they go that well together.
They're really isn't much happening in this song other than that bass, so it's not very engaging.
Keep practicing. The more you make music the better you'll become. Also don't to forget to observe your favorite musicians and see what they do to make their music more appealing
You can do it. Just give it time and a lot of effort. Don't be discouraged. Keep Moving!
I would've rated it 3/5, but I gave it an extra half simply because it's not generic mainstream dubstep and you went back to the roots of the genre. This could have easily been a 4/5 or a 4.5/5 song - the bass part at the beginning goes on too long without anything else going on and starts to become too repetitive. At 2:25 - 2:27, something about the piano starts too hurt my left ear - some kind of audio artifact occurs - you might want to fix that. Finally, the volume on the drums could be boosted a bit, especially the kick.
Thank you for the review! I'll have a look at the things you mentioned, glad you enjoyed the song!
This song was good, I liked the filth, I didn't rate so high because the transition from the beginning to the filth was a bit fast. I liked the piano incorporated into the song, I think dubstep and piano goes hand in hand honestly. Other than that, Good job!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!!
i felt as though i was listening to 2 differant songs that just played back and forth to each other, with neither one really relating to the other
