Oh man, this place is just a gold mine for good music if only you dig a bit! :D Absolutely wonderful work!
I used this song in a boss kill video for World of Warcraft (link to video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkf59 Lz65lg (time index 6:05 ish)), and I just love this song so much. To be honost, watching the video and having the song playing at the same time, often brings a tear to my eye, it's so moving and strong. And to be honest, having some boss audio coming in wanting to have more (about 7:43), makes the second half of the song so amazingly good.
Anyway, just wanted you to know how much I love this song, and please, keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot! I've watched the whole thing and I'm really glad you found my pieces useful for that! I appreciate your comment and will try to bring more of similar compositions.
Take care and thanks for your kind words once again! That's the kind of feedback that gives me strenght to keep on producing.
Oh my god this is beautiful. The guitar, the first few notes, I didn't think would fit, but shortly after it blended in very lovingly and it turned out to add such a mystical effect.
It overall makes me think of something rising up to a challenge and overcoming it.
Still though, some parts of the drums feel too sharp and end up sounding kind of like a crackling, though it hardly takes away from the overall appeal. And I was kind of hoping for a more complete ending, though it simply trailed off. I'm not sure if you're planning on building onto this song at a later date, but I would certainly love to hear it.
Overall, marvelous job, and I look forward to what you make in the future. c:
You see, I actually made this piece in a rush and decided to concentrate on its quality rather than length. But in fact right now I don't see how I could add anything else to it that wouldn't make the impression blander... I might turn back to it in future, but I'm afraid it won't be soon. I wonder what kind of drums you mean exactly, the snare and the kick or those cinematic toms. Hopefully (as it was my first experience with the Epic Toms library) I'll figure how to blend them nicely without any discomfort.
Wonderful work. :) Added you to my favorite list.
Hope, you like it even better with live guitar :)
Man this is soo nice. I'm loving your percussion and arrangement. Hehe, I love the delicious irony that there's a VSTi called "Real Guitar" XD
A VSTi no more, thanks to you, my friend! :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
