This loop was made for you to use in games, movies, etc. Let me know if you use for good or bad! I have the loop without the speech by Robert Frost so send a message if you need it! I hope it loops well for you!

The popcorn was played live with the concertmade keybord I found in the dumpster after a Lithium VanDale show.

The rest is FL8 and Cool Edit Pro.

First off....you found a keyboard in a dumpster?! That's pretty cool, but also kind of gross haha! This song loops well and it has a really nice melody to it. Very game-like, it reminds me of Perfect Dark for some reason. One thing I would suggest is to modify the support synth a touch. It sounds incredibly familiar, which is not a bad thing, but it sounds too familiar (might just be me). The introductory speech along with the music is great!

Just out of curiosity, why did you name the song 'Buttery Epic Popcorn'?

mistarogerz responds:

Buttery Epic Popcorn came from the "popcorn" sound of the keyboard. I think... Wait, it might have been that Buttery popcorn I smelled when mixing this song.

Really interesting...I like the instruments and melodies. You incorporated the speech well, however in general I don't usually like spoken words used in excess in a song...but that's just me. I'm not sure how the speech relates to the "buttery epic popcorn" theme, but after :22 the song was pretty catchy and well-structured. Loops well too. Good job! ^^

mistarogerz responds:

The speech from Robert Frost just felt right at the time. However, in retrospect "What the Hell was I thinking when naming this thing Buttery Epic Popcorn?"

This reminds me of an old PC game from the 90's. Maybe MDK, Toe Jam and Earl ( I game I haven't played in forever) or even a game like Doom or something. It feels very contemplation, I like the way it ascendens and the harmonies appear to descend. Or maybe its the other way around, nice harmonization altogether whatever it is.
