Yes, I think you are getting the basic idea of "techno" Add some piano here and there, some harmony type stuff, and different beats. Oh and NEVER be repetitive. Not many like repetitive techno songs. If you want an example, try listening to some of my songs. I have plenty that would give you ideas like (::Groove On::) and (::Let Me Explain...::) Those are the main ones. Keep it up! AND MAKE SURE TO RESPOND TO YOUR REVIEWS!!! PEOPLE HATE IT WHEN ARTISTS DONT RESPOND! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW, CONTACT ME. Thanks.
