Woah, another epic song, sir...
Reminds me to Hulk (as you said) but, reminds me to Avatar too.
I liked the combination between the percussion and the 'superheroe' atmosphere, also it seems to be an ethnic song, I believe.
By the way I want to say that I'd like if you could add more instruments and also make it more longer. Any way it's pretty enjoyable to listen.
Hey, thanks for leaving a review!
Yeah this one isn't one of my favourites from my recent works, reason being it's very minimal and percussion-based. I'm still glad you like it though!
I'm gonna have to review all these eventually anyway so let's do it! This is like your earlier percussion pieces on steroids, HUUGE reverb without that much mud (it's a little undefined still). Love the menacing deep drones and bassy percussion. The show better be awesome for it to do the soundtrack justice
Even though this is one of my least favourites from the tracks I made (since it's a bit bland being almost entirely percussion) it's certainly my favourite part in the show. This shows up in the opening with hulk and like 15 other dancers, stomping and smashing their hands on their legs/floor, etc... and it's choreographed so well.
Not only that, but we rented a massive LED screen for backdrops and animations, and a good friend of mine (Akle, the guy who made that cooking film with Buoyant in the background) drew an INCREDIBLE jungle and animated it so that there are these firefly things flying around and camera wiggles (as if someone's holding a camera). We even checked the choreography and added a shake on the screen whenever there's a stomp in the dance, making it look like the dancers are causing earthquakes. It looks DEVASTATING.
Temporary happygasm over. Yeah the show was amazing. Fantastic singers, dancers, sketches, everything. This happens every year and last year I assumed this kind of thing was a little school pageant. When I took part in it this year I realised how wrong I was. Thousands showed up to see it.
Thanks for reviewing :3.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
