Next year would be different, I told myself. Next year I'd catch a break.

Next year never came.

Turn your volume up, because I'm not going to participate in the loudness wars.

Utterly brilliant. Calm, dynamic, emotional, and profoundly moving. It reminds me of Enya, just a bit. I loved the plucked strings near the beginning and the end - I only wish you'd used them more prominently, it's a very powerful sound.
As always, an absolutely fantastic piece. Great work.

I'll keep the pluck usage in mind for future songs

Incredibly deep and fulfilling to listen to. Definitely fits your style to the letter. Not that that is a bad thing. You do ambient classical kind of music very well and this song doesnt break that trend. If I had to make some sort of complaint I would just ask for more variation in lead instrument.

Woah, this is like looking at the stars spin outside. It fills the room. Really great, enviornmental, emotional ambiance. Perfect background music for any serene scene or situation. Looking forward to more like this!

I have been considering doing my next album in this style.

Beautiful chords at the beginning. They really caught my attention! You used beautiful instruments in general! Wow! The transition at :54 was a little rough for me, but the part after that was good itself. Maybe a more gradual transition is suitable there. In general, excellent melodies and emotion. The effect at 3:28 was a nice touch, btw. I think you could've ended it better, however. I'm not a big fan of the fade-out endings- they never really add anything to a piece in my opinion. Anyway, in general, it's so emotional and warm, yet also rather engaging and ambitious. Excellent work! :D

Blackhole12 responds:

I very rarely use fade out endings, but in this case everything else just didn't feel right, especially because it fades in at the beginning. I did have most of the instruments terminate before the fade out, however.

I'm surprised you don't like the transition at 0:54, since it was carefully crafted and no one else has complained about it. I kind of wanted it to be a bit rough because its supposed to bring in some contrast so the entire song isn't just boring.
