Update on current rating - as much as I love Fretless Bass, Fretting Voice, I'm quite surprised that a more challengingly atonal piece such as that is currently rated higher. As much as I'm proud of that track, if I were to choose what to listen to, this track would be my first choice.
You tromp along in cheery green fields under a clear blue sky when light rain drops begin to patter gently upon your brow. Clouds lethargically occlude the sunlight overhead, and the sudden misting rain creates an airy symphony as you quicken your pace. Thunder crackles through the growing cloud cover, and the storm begins a jovial dance amongst the green. Soon you are dripping with the effluvium of nature's mischief. Your thudding boots create puddles in the grass that you trample underfoot. You begin to panic as lightning strikes down a tree not ten feet away from you. When you sight a small tor of boulders to duck under, you breathe a sigh of relief at your narrow escape from the vagaries of weather's whimsy, only to find a vein of gold hidden within its lambent shadows. In thanks to your luck you hum a tune, for fate has guided you from your wayward path to this fortuitous misadventure.
