Don't ask me what a tuba is doing in the desert, it probably got lost. Poor tuba.

Fitting to the Desert City theme I made in which the hero (whoever that is) reaches a splendid city after wandering around in the desert for days: /audio/listen/502643

Classic Gerudo Valley style theme. I say Gerudo Valley style because the style of music fits perfectly to the area it is supposed to represent. Absolutely stunning, I must say. It doesn't sound like it was made to sound like music in a desert, it just sounds like music in a desert. Fabulous loopage, as well. Right on the freakin' money!

Thanks! It was originally made for the game of a good friend. It was an isometric 3D RPG with awesome graphics, and I love how well the desert theme fits the overall style of that game. :)

It's obviously a really simple piece, but it's quirky and fun, and a little mysterious. I like the slightly tribal feel too. I'd love to use this for my game, if that's alright.

wandschrank responds:

Thanks for your review! Yep, it's simple - sometimes less is more. :) Also make sure to check out my song "Desert City" (2012), it was composed together with this one.

That's a cool song. Very organic. The instruments come out nicely. I don't know what a tuba would do in the desert either. Probably just a fata morgana.
