Didn't notice this one before. Great clean sound on this one. Reminds me of Black Omen from Chrono Trigger. As a side note, my comments that your music makes me think of parts from existing games isn't a shot at originality. It's actually really cool that you can evoke memories from titles that I thoroughly enjoyed playing but not cause me to wince and think "this is a complete rip off of song X".

The name of the song and the way the track begins to drift along makes me think of a delusional boss. The guitar fading in and out reminds me a lot of the Giygas battle from Earthbound.

Listening to the smooth piano echo after each note sounds very pleasant and gives a mellow feel to the song as if there is some sanity left. Then the heavy electronic synth sounds great and I like the phaser effect that is added to it.

The drums provide a smooth background tune for the rest to go on. The bass rhythm is very nice.

Overall, great start to the album.

I'm not really feeling the piano though. Maybe you could make some changes so that the keys are pressed a bit softer?

I feel like some of the instruments are much louder than they need to be (flute, piano).

No real climax.

I'm not too sure if this would be a good opener to your first album though.

Although, it is pretty loud at parts I'm really digging the flute though. It's feels a bit "loungy."

I like how you changed the saw too a E-guitar(?) around 1:43 for a teeny bit. I think you do that with the flute too around the one minute mark. I'll have to incorporate that into my own songs :)

lol this song portrays a delusional person very well. As if he/she's strolling through a park thinking he/she's awesome.

All in all, good song. Fun song. Deserves a good rating.

This is a good song. It sounds nice and calm in the beginning, but the longer it plays, the more "delusional" it becomes. There are other instruments in the background, that create some sort of eerie atmosphere. Sometimes I think there are even some disharmonics in this song, which only amplify this "strange" atmosphere.
