0:00 Simple drum beat. Very nice.
0:13 Adding those G-funk synths in there. Maybe a bit too much... mid (?) for my liking, but still great.
0:30 Dat bass. Goes right to my bones. Also sounds a bit... Maroon 5 "This Love"-y?
0:53 Looping, but still sounds great. Characteristic of a great loop.
1:03 OH YES. That police-drama-80's feel. I love that. Something suspicious is going down in NYC. Who are the cops for the job? Well, obviously the NYPD, but anyway. Love the feel.
1:37 That stabbing synth is getting a bit repetitive. I'm feeling the stab. Needs less occupancy in the mix. Or something.
2:00 OK CHANGE... now.
2:05 Yes it did. You rewarded my anticipation.
2:17 Slow and easy going. How much more G can you get?
2:40 Reverby piano. A little refrain. Noice.
2:56 OK end the song soon. Pls.
3:18 Good ending.
OK very groovy beat. Police-drama-style, like it was in the 80's. Reminds me of Chevy Chase's Fletch. Pretty cool stuff. Those stabs though. GUR. You need to tone down... is it the low mids? Not sure. But something needs to be toned down. Good progression, if a little lethargic and drooping. But it's good beat nevertheless.
Jesus, you really went all out here.
I'm not done mixing it but thanks for the review.
I agree with the hipster below.
Sick track, love it!
