...just picture thousands of frogs spontaneously combusting in perfect rhythmic sequence

Very intelligent

It's definitely a grower, this time, but I felt from the beginning that I'd eventually adore it.
There is a lot to discover, mainly in the background, which makes it very soundscapy and really works for it on repeated listens.
Drums are very inventive on this, for instance. They build up very cleverly, and are sometimes widely syncopated without that dominating the overall feel.
All the parts blend perfectly. It really reveals itself to be very delicate, as choppy as it may come over.
In other words, awesome. Best you've submitted since 'Sleep Deprivation'. Big 5/5.

I made something corny! (Again?) I'm really curious what you think of my "Kakariko Polka"...

attemptedperfection responds:

many thanks! glad you liked it! even if I really haven't submitted more than two finished tracks since 'Sleep Deprivation'... maybe I should finish up some of those previews... I've been hard at work on my new album, though, so that's taking up quite a bit of time. This one was actually something of a break... at any rate, I'll head over to your page and have a good download or two. Thanks again for the review!

nice tune

cool lil choon mate, liked it a lot, though where were the frogs? lol.

Anyways yes, good arrangemnt, sparse but just about the right balance to the mix, i think the tack cud benifit with a little diversity, a middle 8 or something, but thats only a minor criticism.

keep it up dawg

attemptedperfection responds:

where are the frogs, you ask?
use your imagination!
...and thanks for the review!
I'll have to stop by your page to check out what new stuff you've churned up since "on the front (summer's day)"...
if only I weren't stuck with dial-up for the summer, it would be so much easier...
