My entry for a 2012 NAC: Children of the Chron.

Sadly, I couldn't record vocals from my friend, as he got sick with flu; I managed to record some vocals myself, and this time my ears bleed a little less than when listening to my prevoious vocal attempts, so I guess it's a success :)
(I will probably change theaudio as soon as I record the proper vocals)

1. Taken too early by a deadly disease,
left his family deeply in grief.
They would give all to have him back,
and than along came the strange man in black.

He promised to bring the boy back from the dead
They agreed-not knowing what horror lies ahead
He took the body from the freshly dug grave
And then proceeded with the ritual depraved.

Not dead but not alive
Brought back through bloody sacrifice
Not dead but not alive
Demon in the body of child

2. Reunited with parents, they were overjoyed
But not for the long time their son they enjoyed
As soon they have found there's something wrong
They started to fear what may come along

The boy looked like their son, but he have changed
He became quiet and brooding and somewhat deranged
One night fled from his bedroom and stole kitchen knife
and went to his parent's to end thier lifes.

As nice as the song is, it's not really in the contest theme except the small intro. The vocals are pretty good but the mix is kinda shabby. Nice metal song about children and stuff! It didn't make me feel or think about creepy kids you know. Did like the guitar duet with the little bells hehe

nice music box melody of twisted twinkle twinkle little star..

the europeanish sounding rammstein like vocals add to the dark creepiness of the song.. although this more has a horror feeling to it than a creepy feeling.. it is still well executed.
