Long time that I didn't make a song for my project imaginary scenery because I have tons of work but I am finally back to my own things. This song is the first full orchestra song that I have ever made and it was so much fun. I had a hard time trying to balance, keeping track of what harmonies I was creating and all those thing but it was a really awesome experience.
To make this song where the main feeling was something tense and epic I kind of made up an story. The song develops when a king receive a letter from a secret lover but she was clever enough to put poison on the letter. The tracks follows the whole intense feeling of the death announcement.

Anyone else think of castle crashers while hearing this song?
Came to the classical section of the audio portal looking for some emotional music for a friends flash animation, stumbled across this instead.
classical isn't really my genre so I'll try and be objective. i really liked this song but I feel it could of been a bit more mellow and changed a tad more. the majority of the song is a tuba in the back which, I personally (no offence, didn't particuly like... tis too loud. I stil enjoyed it but may I recommend on some of your future tracks you try and add a bit more to them, not neccesaraly make them longer but just give them more "layers"
think of it like this... a song is a sandwich, this one has just ham (but some really good ham), instead next time put some cheese in there, bit of ketchup... hell even toast that bitch but overall add more changes.
anyway I can feel people looking at me weirdly and I think I've overstayed my welcome so to leave on a high note, twas good, 3.5 'cause classical's not my thing and I'm not a 5 star whore.

hahahahah love the sandwich example! yeah I know I had so much trouble with the tuba! most of the time that I spent on the song was trying to fix that problem but I guess I could have done better.
