I haven't made music in forever because I've been pretty busy, but I had a hour or two to put together this short drum and bass loop. I think it sounds pretty dope, hopefully in the future I can extend it to make it a full song, what do you guts think about it?

This is sick. The bassline is amazing; the instrument you used for it sounds a lot like the bass in Conor Maynard's 'Vegas Girl'. You put it to much better use though :P I think it'd make a great full-length song. It sounds like some really intense final boss battle or something.

you're right, they do sound really similar! I was in the process of making it into a full-length track, but I got a new computer before i was able to finish it, and everything is gone now... :( Thanks for listening though!

I haven't listened to DNB in forever and I'm glad I chose this song to come back to. I didn't really like the fading out but it made it loop perfectly. The fading in from 00:20 to 00:38 was good and then boom 00:38 hit and I fell in love with this loop.

Final Verdict is I would let this loop for hours until I'm sick of the loop and don't listen to it for years and then once I finally do I can't get enough of it.

Kassich responds:

thanks for listening! Hopefully I make another DnB track soon so you can get sick of that one too!

I must agree the kick does seem to get a bit lost, and you should make a full song. Althought might I suggest adding some pads? I really think a background ambience of more than just the radar-like ping.

Kassich responds:

if I put some significant time aside to make a full track, ill definitely put in pads and remaster the kick (and everything else) Thanks for the comment and thanks for listening!

Make a full track for sure, maybe raise the bpm up a tad bit (Not saying you should just a suggestion to add more energy). Otherwise very catchy loop!

Kassich responds:

yeah, adding energy to a track can be super hard haha, I think this track is at 80 bpm, but double-time so its at 160 (which is a little slow for drum and bass) good call on the speeding it up a little!

Dig the combination of grainy and clean synths. It would be really rad as a full song. I love the subtle dubstep wobble you used too. The kick gets a tad lost towards the end, otherwise the production is phenomenal to me.

Kassich responds:

thanks for listening! if I make it into a full song, I definitely will remaster it... listening to it again I completely agree about the kick. Thanks for the comment!
