Jesus, this gave me chills...
You're amazing.
Amazing...
Seriously though, this is just... Just... Daaaaaaa... Epic!
This one took a while! I had to rebuild is so many times. . .
It started off as an attempt at a happy dubstep track and when I had roughly 1 minute of the song, it was just becoming awful, ugly and repetitive. I had it my scrap heap for days before I realised the synths and basses where not so bad and I've already made a tonne of happy stuff lately. So I figured it was about time for something darker and decided to reconstruct it into something a little more... obsidian >:).
So after reconstructing it (18 god damn times) here it is! An orchestral dubstep (trance-ish maybe?) track! WUBWUB enjoy!
Jesus, this gave me chills...
You're amazing.
Amazing...
Seriously though, this is just... Just... Daaaaaaa... Epic!
The beginning isn't great, but it gets better and better all the way to the epic end. Great song, as usual! :)
Also, here's the video I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtdU7U jTKgc
Thank you! it's always neat to see people finding a use for my music :)
I admire that you reconstructed this it 18 times to get this great finished product! Keep doing what you're best at, and keep posting!
Thanks you! yes, it was a pain... but I think the final result is worth it at least! :)
Dubstep with orchestral. Sounds really nice! Very nice orchestral sounds! What do you use for the orchestral and brass?
Thank you! there wasn't any brass used in this track but I often use soundfonts for my orchestral sounds and just master and layer them with each other so they sound more natural and spaced out.
Would've been better if it were just trance, the wubs just don't seem to fit this song very well.
Well it's barely even trance. Aside from the delay piano and beat, the wubs are the only other electronic element. Without them it's just a repetitive riff with some small orchestra instruments and a beat... and that's no fun. I feel the basses give the track a little more movement.
but I respect your opinion regardless. Thanks for listening!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
