Song starts light and progressive, steadily builds until it's very heavy (and ends with a climax I'm quite proud of!)

Hi there !

Good choice of percussions and rythmics here, but i gotta agree with The-iMortal, they need more power.

Also at about 02:31, there's bass-like synth. It almost sound it has become the lead sound, so i would either to lower it's volume, or move its panning to the left.

Finally, the sound is kinda saturated at the end. I think the volume needs to be downed a tiny bit there.

Ok, so i'm being a bit severe in this review, but don't get me wrong. This is a nice piece.

GershBeats responds:

Thanks for the review! I'd hardly say this is the best produced piece out there, either. I'll probably take another crack at it soon, and see if I can't get it polished up.

Forget about the mastering for now, concentrate on the mixing! The drums especially... they sound so dull, and fail to bring energy into the track. The synths sound like they've been recorded out of radio (okay, maybe not that extreme). It sounds like you've either cut too many frequencies with an EQ, or used distortion plugins unwisely.

The kick just does not bring in the oomph it needs to. Bring up the volume! The snare sound very lifeless - no body to it.

The composition is quite good, but your mixing needs serious work, bro. Coz I'm such a great bloke, if you want some help, PM me and I'll give you my Skype, and I can help you mix and master your next project. As in, I won't do it for you, but I'll give you tips and criticism.

GershBeats responds:

Cool, thanks for the review! I may take ya up on that :)

hehe I'm actually just looking at it now - I've got overdrive layered on the master track lololol

At some points mastering needs attention specially 3:30+ i hear some HF distortion but i like it , anyway deserve 5 stars

GershBeats responds:

Yep you're definitely right! It's a tricky mastering situation due to the large mix of elements, and I hate having to cut out content to make mastering any easier, but I'll give it a shot!

Also thanks :)
