WORK IN PROGRESS

Leiji Matsumoto has been a heavy influence in my music and overall in my life. Back when I was but six years old, I saw my very first anime called Galaxy Express 999, aired on Sci Fi. I can't begin to describe how much this single event changed my life. The emotional power from it, the unforgettable music, the story, everything. Especially the character, Captain Harlock, whom you can now guess was the primary influence for my artist name.

I have a lot to thank Matsumoto for, and this track, in which is not a confirmed title but for now remains known as Project Leiji, is a nod towards his ever-appreciated influence in my life.

I'm sure if he listened to this track he would be rather puzzled by the music but hopefully he draws some form of the intention from it.
