Yeah - I get to go in late. My upload speed is going to slow down with all the chaos of the new school year...

I'm still a somewhat unsatisfied with the mixing in some areas, especially the middle (FL Studio is really annoying sometimes because I have instances where what I hear in FL is drastically butchered when it renders as an audio file); I will re-upload this later. The song is supposed to loop back to ~2-3 seconds in, but I can't do that on here.

EDIT Sept. 7, 2012: Fixed audio levels (now to make the sound more clear)

EDIT Oct. 17, 2012: Check out this android app that this song plays in - https://play.google.com/s tore/apps/details?id=com.

For a real battle music it misses sime deep and hard bassdrum and a snare drum. But the rest fits well.

JRob responds:

There are a lot of good battle themes that DON'T have bass/kick drums or snares (or a typical drum kit for that matter) and use orchestral percussion instruments (timpani for example). The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (large influence in this song), Okami (which I highly recommend), and One-Winged Angel (original) are perfect examples. I actually avoided using the typical drum kit instruments to give it more of a feel like the examples I just gave. The theme that had the biggest influence in this song was the final boss in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (Shroob queen part two, to be exact), again, uses timpani instead of kick drum and snares.
