Hell yeah. Real groovy man, the drum sample is definitely unexpectedly raw and kickass, but seems to loop a little sloppy. I like the samples and bassline a fuck lot, but I think it needed some more diversity when you turn off the sample round the middle and also when you turn off the bass round the second half. maybe some calm piano chords for the background so it'd be less empty, idk, just ideas. Otherwise lovely song. keep it up soothsage!

Straight up old school man. It's got a good funky bassline, and it's full of soul. Not sure what you mean when you say it needs EQ work..the drums maybe? I think they could use a bit of touch-ups, but at the same time they're kinda raw and that makes them sound awesome, and really adds to the old school nature of this track. This is a good one man, keep up the good work.
