"A Noiseless Patient Spider" by Walt Whitman (Breaking Bad anyone?)
Read by Kamran Nikhad
"A noiseless, patient spider,
I markÃffÃ'¢EUTMd, where, on a little promontory, it stood, isolated;
MarkÃffÃ'¢EUTMd how, to explore the vacant, vast surrounding,
It launchÃffÃ'¢EUTMd forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself;
Ever unreeling themÃffÃ'¢EU"ever tirelessly speeding them.
And you, O my Soul, where you stand,
Surrounded, surrounded, in measureless oceans of space,
Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing,ÃffÃ'¢EU"seekin g the spheres, to connect them;
Till the bridge you will need, be formÃffÃ'¢EUTMdÃffÃ'¢EU "till the ductile anchor hold;
Till the gossamer thread you fling, catch somewhere, O my Soul."
Rarely do I find poetry here on NG, this was good. Hope to hear more.
