My second song. Really new at this so go easy on me, lol. Constructive criticism always welcome. I started making music around when my son was born (7/23/2012), so I dedicated this to him. It's goofy, doesn't make a lot of sense, but was going for fun...

I wasn't sure when I made this if it classified as dubstep, house, progressive house, or something else. It's all experimental as I am practicing, but you're right in that dubstep seems more 'random'.
As far as getting better software/samples, I've got decent software (Ableton/NI), save for drums (in this song). I've since picked up a decent drum vst (in my other song), but learning to wheel them better.
I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best at mixing/mastering either. So, I could be squandering powerful software... Trust me when I say, I'm practicing my brains out. I do appreciate your feedback man! Thanks!
Honestly . . . . . this is surprisingly amusing XD
Thanks sir! Where I'm brand spanking new at this, I sometimes worry that my stuff must sound like a kid banging on tin cans compared to these amazing artists out there.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
