Oof... I don't think my heart can take much more of those epic vibes right now. The requiem part is solemn but kind of... empty in my opinion... At least compared to other requiem. (e.g Mozart's Requiem) But overall, really good song for walking outside in a big open field, with nothing other than you and your friends... Keep it up.

This song is arranged in suite format, evoking themes of heroism, tragedy and honor that I've been playing around for a project. The song is mostly orchestrated using brass instruments and choir. The first part is a strong march-like use of the main theme, while the rest of the song is similar to a requiem and makes more subtle use of heroic statements. The overall tone is solemn and epic in scope.

Thank you ! Yeah, I absolutely love choir work and immersive atmosphere. I wish I had the time to get some more work up on Newgrounds, but I'm currently involved in projects on another site. Maybe in the near future, if time allows, I will upload some new stuff here as well.

It's a good song... I like it, it sounds good!
Maybe try to add something more interesting... I guess it's solemn and epic, but maybe if there was something to catch the listener's attention... Maybe add a fighting part? Something with more speed and excitement? :P

Thank you ! I agree the song lacks excitement, but I wanted to put together some ideas, then each of these ideas would evolve on their own in later songs. And yeah, I was thinking of Gladiator when I chose the title.
