I've been putting up a lot of previews lately... maybe I should finish something...

this tunes fricking crazy

awwwwww man what a tune, it's like a nursery full of three year olds in musical format. I'm really loving it, imagine listening to this while mashed on sum pills, what a head fuck.

i'm absolutely digging this track, it'd work so well in a manic puzzle game or something, and that horns cool as well.

seriously what a grade a fuck up.

Check out some of my stuff under pitters on the idie section.

this one's acutally getting quite a bit more tweaking, including vocals, guitars and whatnot, and will be included in my "to whom it may concern" project's next cd.
glad you seem to like it;
thanks for the review!

I think it works very well, actually.

You're doing a real good job exploring the thin line between challenging and annoying music lately, and from my point of view you hit bullseye with this one. It's very humorous and yet you didn't half-ass the composition. That's what good parody is - making fun of something and paying it a tribute at the same time.

I'd make the cymbal a little less loud and that's about all I can advise. I loved the tubudup-tup-tup bass, and all the ska syncopation. I assume when (if?) you finish this, you're going to make it even weirder, and I'm looking forward to that.

Fifen. I've got a new song up as well btw, Lower Norfair from Super Metroid in a 12/8 electrofunk. Check it out!

attemptedperfection responds:

Oh, I am definitely planning on finishing this one; I even have pseudo-pop lyrics in the works, similar to "pop my words"; it's going to be catchy as hell. I'll head over to check out your new track as soon as I get the chance.
Thanks for the review!

Lol, bouncy.

I get the obvious '16 bit' feel from it. I don't get the 'ska' feel, though... its too happy and fast. Maybe if it was slower, and with better samples?

This song is actually very well written, so your only problem is the tempo, and your quality of the samples.

Good work, but its not something I'd listen to on my free time.

attemptedperfection responds:

Thank you muchly for the feedback;
I'll have to see what I can do to make it more ska-sounding... I had actually thought it was a bit too slow, but maybe I was thinking in the wrong direction... As for the samples, I was actually surprised that they came out as well as they did (I had low expectations...), but maybe I can adjust some effects and whatnot to make them sound more realistic...
Thanks again for the review!
