This is just the piano version, but I might expand the instrumentation later. Its harmonies are a bit odd, but I hope you enjoy it.

Very pleasent

So you have a very pleasent touch here with this one, I really love how soft and pleasent this plays out you really do have some nice piano playing, and i think i will add this one to my faves list, i do however wish this one was somewhat longer, maybe you could have gave it some build up and build down throughout, almost seems like it was unfinished but anyways it was a pretty good piece i thought.

Could be longer and have some longer build ups aswell as a build down.

Ah thank you! I think so as well, looking back on it now. At the same time, though, I'm not really sure what could appropriately add onto the feel of this piece. I've toyed around with it since then, and have yet to come up with something that works.
Either way, I'm glad that you considered adding it to your favorites, I'm very happy you enjoyed it. =)

Just a very beautiful piece of music. As I play a little piano myself, I can actually understand and feel the soft tone given off by the song. Masterfully done, I must say. I'll tell you one thing though: I think other instrumentation would ruin it....unless you gave it something more of a softer partner instrument (baritone saxophone---in other words, anything that is deeper sounding).

But to put this song to a real test, I listened to it twice. Once to just listen to it. I wanted to soak in the melody and wander off in the harmony (which, by the way, IS a little strange). I did so, and it worked lovely. Then, I decided to see if I can notice it while performing some other activity on the computer----reading an article or something of the sort. So while I was reading the article, I could notice it. I could still hear it speaking it mellifluous musical soul still speaking to me. Considering I can't really concentrate on more than one thing at a time, this was a huge accomplishment on your part.

Bravo, and if you do decide to make an instrumentation version of the song, I can only say: encore.

Thank you very much, it makes me very glad to hear you enjoyed it. =)
I'm still debating what instruments to use if I were to orchestrate it, and I think you're correct in that it'd be pretty difficult to give it the same feel. Worth a shot, though! (Sadly my sax MIDIs are absolute crap, but aren't they all? Ohwell.)
Thanks for your time, I appreciate it. =)

This song is very nice. I like that it is so quiet and calm. It keeps itself very nicely in the background. So it could be used as a background music in emotional scenes, like the departure of two friends, or similar scenes.

I especially like the combination of the deeper background melody and the main melody with the higher notes... those kind of songs are the reason why I like the piano so much. :)

The tune sounds very nice for a piano only piece. Makes me think of Final Fantasy VIII too. The melody carried out gives that feeling of hope. Just seems to be a really nice song to listen to. I like how the one rhythm given by the piano seems to be a forever going down pattern as if the notes were getting lower in tone yet not going that far down.

The main melody seems to come off as incredibly nice to listen to.

Overall, nice piano song.

CheckeredZebra responds:

Thank you for the review! Yes, playing this on the actual piano actually can be a bit difficult. At one point both the melody and harmonies directly interfere with each other, haha.
