I originally wrote this because I wanted a song I could personally space out to, a song to give my mind a mesmerizing kick in the face.
This idea to make the song a 4 stage experience was not the original intention and the song kind of evolved like that as I wrote it. The transitions between the 2nd and 3rd parts is much more obvious, so the song essentially 2 halves, both building up tension throughout their respective half just to drop you cold at the end. The finale is much more epic than the drop at the second half. I'm rambling.
So I had a lot of visuals when listening to this song:
* riders racing through a forest, trees whizzing by, falling off a cliff at the halfpoint drop
* a person who realizes he can fly/control his/her reality. During the 1st quarter he's flying above trees, large city in the distant background, eventually making it to the city flying amongst glass towers. The tension aspect of the song would come from a "beast of industry" whose tentacles are attached to various parts of the city and surrounding landscape, noticeably sapping energy to grow itself. The beast is not noticed by the citypeople, but is seen by the person who has awakened himself, and he takes flight directly for the monster. Battle ensues with the beast tearing itself from the ground, stomping in time to the timpani hits in the song, trashing the city out of rage. The timpani/cymbal crashes would be from the flying attacks of the awakened man.
* Battles of massive scale
I hope you guys like it, let me know if you'd like to use this for an animation! Thanks and enjoy!
