Support my music by buying the album Cuintha:

I was watching Joe Hisaishi the other day perform a piece, and I thought.. I love orchestra music a lot and he makes some great spirited tracks and he has a ton of them, so I decided I wanted to make a spirited uplifting orchestral piece as well.

Another inspiration for this track came after seeing the movie Sherlock Holmes A game of shadow, where Hans Zimmer used the Harpsichord a lot and I thought he did a great job with it.

This piece paints a picture of my imaginative city called ''Adventua'', one of the largest cities you'll ever find, the structures of the buildings are very artsy and the people of the city are all creative and noone is forced into jobs against their will just to make a living. People here are free spirited artists and life lovers that can be themselves.

Wow... This is just wonderful. I feel like I'm going on an adventure that doesn't need any words to describe it, just this instrumental XD.

~Keep up the good work Grassland... jk

DanJohansen responds:

hahah Dan Grassland Johansen.. could work.
Glad you like it man! Thanks! :D

First of all, That place called Adventua may not be the largest place in the world....but it may be in Morocco! I forgot the name, But I came across it whilst researching and traveling. Nonetheless, the song reminds me of the game Dark Cloud! It seems masterfully done, and just has this soothing yet energetic vibe that makes me want to write! Oh, so awesome!

Also, you might just want to take a look around Europe as well, you might find Adventua!

DanJohansen responds:

I haven't played Dark Cloud, but I've been wanting to check it out for some time..
Europe is the closest thing to this in the world, you're right there :D
Thanks for stopping by man!

This is really good, so good it just gave me inspiration for one of my original character. i just stoped trying with her since every time i tried to draw her it never came out good when drawing with my tablet, but this song just gave me soo much emotion i just have to draw her. i thank you for this. oh, and if you ever find a place like that tell me i would move there before you can say, "hey i foun... oh your here." you should check the drawing out in a week or so. the one in color might not be good but my lining sure is. thanks again!!

DanJohansen responds:

That is frikkin awesome! I'll be sure to check that pic out :D Glad I helped you want to finish it.
And yeah, I'll def give you a call when I find this place.. it MUST exist somewhere out there... it just... have to!

Definitely an uplifting piece. The use of the instruments was awesome, I like how everything was orchestrated. I feel like I'm walking through a city, from probably the 1700s, and people are happy and living harmoniously (not saying I'm back at the time, and it was like that haha, I don't think it was) But that's what I'm seeing, and until around the 1:30 mark its daytime, then from there until 2:30 it starts getting dark. Then I can visualize a party and people having a good time. Then at 2:56 til the end the party ends and everyone passes out. Awesome song.

DanJohansen responds:

hahah epic imagination there dude, I would actually give up a leg to be able to live in this place XD
Glad you dig the tune man, appreciate it a lot! Great feedback and review man.. Rock on and thanks!

This is nice, seems very fitting in uhm.. something like Dungeons of Dredmor. well a lot of dungeon crawler like games

DanJohansen responds:

Never played that game :D but it could fit into a wide variety of Dungeon crawlers though, that would be cool :D Thanks for stopping by miss! Preciate it
