Tzu - Beyond My Soul (Clip)

As of late I've been growing away from the hype of Dubstep and returning to a normal state in music: Having no clue what I'm doing. Taking ideas from various genres and finding new synths and sounds to enjoy, I'm working on creating music the way I feel like, without limiting myself to genres or concepts.

Sounds amazing! It sounds like something from Legend of Dragoon but thats just my opinion. Keep it up and keep to this genre because you seem good at it.
Well catcha later I gotta go back to Hyrule(See what I did there)

Tzunami responds:

Thanks a lot, Marc. Besides the fact that I have no clue what genre to coin this as besides some low-mid tempo dance track, I'll keep at it. Also, I haven't played LoD in ages. Might be something I have to look into playing again.

I like it Tzu. But I would have to say my two favorite songs by you are Once in a dream and Night of the eclipse. In other words, I love your ambient stuff. But this new sound isn't too shabby. I can see some similarities in this song with the other two I just mentioned. I never really liked Dubstep at all so I'm pleased to hear that you're breaking away from it and continuing to make music that made you great in the first place. My opinion of course. Anyways, continue to make great music and I will continue to listen. Cheers.

Tzunami responds:

Thanks a lot, Mace. You know, I look back at my catalog from time to time and notice how sporadic my musical choices have been. When I started with music forever and more years ago, I aimed to create amazing Drum & Bass tracks, because that's what I was into the most. As time went on, a lot of the songs I made turned into some form of reflection in my life, so I had plenty of inspiration to go around. Since I've grown though, everything starts to get technical and it's not as easy to just hit a few keys and dish out a song. I will agree that Night of the Eclipse is one of my personal favorites I've ever made, but, thankfully, the newest project I have in the works will feature those same downtempo/ambient songs and feelings.

Great to hear a review from a fan of mine, and even better to hear what you like about my style.

Your adventures in the realm of music are proof of your growth into a greater composer. Removing those limits is a great move on your part.
I can't wait for more from you.

Fun fact; If you put Potassium in water, it catches fire!!

Tzunami responds:

Thanks for the kind words, Aaroca. Trying to go for one particular sound was holding me back in a sense. Not so much the fact that I'm tired of this or that, but the concepts were keeping me from my traditional way of working.

Also, burning water sounds nice.
