After being inactive for a long period of time, I come back and this is what I get: a tune that makes me hungry. No, actually it did lol. I really like the bass line that just fades in during the beginning of the song. I got hooked by that, and now I'm just looping it.
Even though this tune's from 2012, keep up the great work!
If this is food, then I'm gonna have to go on a diet soon!
As always, great work, you produce the kind of songs that I can just put in loop for hours without getting bored.
But, I agree with Heart about the lyrics that this song really needs. Sometimes I write poems or lyrics myself and I've been trying to do the same for this song but it's not working out well today.
Too bad I'm not a vocalist.
... Or a woman.
Haha. Yeah, too bad on both counts. :D I would definitely like to find a powerful vocalist to work with some day. Thanks for the kind words, pshyco! :)
This isn't the kind of music from you which I use to listen, but it stills cool.Really nice to dance it at a disco or listen it while I'm running on the beach.Keep in this way Durn, because you're like no one =D
Thanks Lobuno. :) I've got a few softer & dreamier songs that're just about done as well so maybe they'll be more up your alley!
If music is the food of love, what food would you compare this song to? I'd say Jell-o, it bounces, it's bright, but the melody is a bit too uninteresting, sure it tastes strongly of lime, but that's it, no deviation. A melody synth that blares the same three notes for the whole song.
Aye, that's where the vocal were supposed to come in. This is very much a supporting track, it's missing the wailing & soulful lead vocals that'd make it tropical punch jell-o. ;) Thank you for the critical review, Heart. :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
