To the person who rated "Battle Experiment #9" a 0/5, I must sincerely thank you for taking the time to listen to my composition. After reviewing the song a bit more, I realized that I had made some careless errors, and decided to take a bit of time to correct them. /snark With that said, here's the updated version. Enjoy!

Incidentally, you can tell if your song has been rated or not. If the rating reads 0/5.00, then it hasn't been rated yet. If it reads 0.00/5.00, then you've (unfortunately) received your first rating.

Anyway, this is an updated version of my most recent generic RPG-ish battle music, inspired partly by NemesisTheory and zircon (Andrew Aversa). And somewhat by N's theme from Pokemon. You know the routine - drum'n'bass beat, strings, piano arpeggios and chords, a choir, and a bit of brass instrumentation (in this case, a somewhat cheesy-sounding muted trumpet from the FluidR3_GM soundfont). For you audiophiles out there, the song plays at 180 BPM, and the file is encoded in variable bitrate (VBR) MP3 at an upper limit of 320 kbps - just about the highest quality I can muster for your listening pleasure.

UPDATE 1 (2012/06/02): Changed one of the background string chords in an attempt to reduce dissonance.

the chorus synth (it could be string but im guessing) should have a softer attack i think. when it hits to had it sounds more fake. on the otherside i love the composition of this piece it is both beautiful and captivating

foxhead128 responds:

Why, thank you. Sorry if I sounded kind of angry before; I sometimes do that when I'm tired. No hard feelings, I hope.
