To be used in Project Chaplaincy

FINALLY, after several months of this submission not getting through on Newgrounds, it finally makes it through. FINALLY.

This is 'All The Way Down', and this theme gets its name from the fact that it is going to be used for the Surrey story arc. Surrey is in the southern region of England. Imagine hovering through old buildings and bridges, wiping out enemies... while being distinctively Brit!

This theme came about as a result of Christo (Merlyne) and a few other people suggesting that I add more variation to my chords. They wanted variation? They GOT variation. >: )

FL Studio 10 all the way.

EDIT 30.05.2013: Improved mixing and panning.

This is yet another great song. I will admit that it's kind of weird. It seems like it's pretty happy at first, but eventually goes sad. Hey, I guess that's what the title means! It certainly seems like something from England. I think I can hear some Legend Of Zelda in there.

Granted, that's probably just because I'm so used to hearing LOZ music. I was confused as to why the submission wasn't shown here. It says it was heard in 1 entry. Oh, maybe it was unfortunately deleted. It's a song with a lot of heart and emotion.

Just for the record, there is a new version of this in my audio submissions -- I'd love for you to hear it and tell me what you think! Thanks for listening to this one by the way. <3

That's really cool. The channels are a little bit too separated. It's a little bit hard to hear this using headphones because most of the instruments are only on the left channel, but the rest is cool. A very nice melody, and cool chord progression. Well done.

Thanks! And yes, I'll admit, the channels are too separated. T_T I use headphones when I sequence, so I must be more mindful about that next time.

One of the most melodic pieces i've heard here in a long time.
But one problem. As said below, the panning is really annoying, that's the only thing that needs to be fixed. What vst are you using for your instruments? Sounds really awesome, especially that piano, bassoon, violin.

Amazing Song once again, fav'd, downloaded, rated a 5.

Troisnyx responds:

Here's the problem: nearly the entire ensemble was made up of soundfonts. The only VST, if I have ever used one, is DirectWave (which comes with FL Studio by default).

I'm horrible with mixing and panning -- I'll be glad if you have a few tips. :D Thanks for the review!

I really like the chord progressions. Melodies are well flown.

The beginning left pan is annoying. Well, I also thing general mixing is another problem. Some instruments are overpowered.

Agreed -- I'll note these for the final result. Thank you! ^_^
