Short melody I've had stuck in my head for a long time. Put it down in notes back in September 2011 but never really got around to orchestrating it much.

Only recently figured out how to play it with chords on the piano but not sure how to bring it out more (it's just the main melody with few supporting themes). The intro is also pretty boring - not sure how to improve the sound or melody there while keeping it slow; really disliked the sound of the flute but couldn't find a better one amongst my samples that matched the other VSTs.

Title on the song has actually changed a lot. I guess more than anything it sounds like a long evening hike against the setting sun... or a leaf being carried away by the wind.

Oh my god it sounds beautiful. I love the choice of instruments, the melody is great. It kind of reminds me of the song "Love Will Keep Us Alive" mixed with a beautiful day on a grassy field. The change of pace in the middle is great too. Please keep it up.

Haven't heard that song before but I can see the similarity now after listening. Glad you enjoyed it and will try to make more - thanks!

A very nice piece. Could use a little more articulation, but overall a very nice melody. The intro is actually very nice; it contrasts with the rest of the tempo to give it nice, human feel. Also, the simplicity of the instruments used gives it quite a bit of emotion. Overall, good job. If you keep at it you will go places.

May I ask what program you used?

pftq responds:

Thanks - I agree about the articulation. Going to keep working on that in future songs.

I used FL Studio with VST plugins for East West.
