Glitchy electronica with lo-fi, heavily processed beats and 8 (at most) bit synths.

squelch

sharp synthy pops and cracks for the drums, sets the tone well. strange reverbed ambience swooping around, feels underwater-ish. lots of interesting sounds going on.

in amongst all the noise and weirdness is a nice ambient melody keeping the whole thing together and fair.

some of the more grimey synth noises sounds pretty crazy, brings a more industrial sound to the later parts of the tune.

nice percussion aswell.

brilliant end section where u started to play around with a granulizer and stretch the sounds around a bit more.

consistantly different and fresh, another great track.

was going to finish the review but i just reached the very end mashup, really stunning distortion and hard drums. shame it was short lived.

beauty

Well, it's about as ambient as my "ambient" stuff. Everything has ambience, and "ambient" music has more of it. Works for me. (just add reverb? eheh)

Nice raunch toward the end. I like ambience that sometimes becomes a drill to the forhead ;) I was recently kissed by the zero naybobs too, bless their weasly hearts. - UT

NO LOGIC

yup i fucking hate latin...

sounded like earthbound or something. perfect for a creepy flash or something. perfect. i dont exactly know how to review ambient so ill just give you trhe 5 and be done with it. please dont stop submitting just because of the zero voters or whatever. keep making songs. o yeah, the parts around n sometimes after 2:25 were completely random...lol

dj-padman1 responds:

Hey, I'm really stoked that you got the name!

And I hate it as well, luckily it's a dead language.

Thanks for your support and yeah, I'll hang around for a bit longer. They need someone to zero vote right? I dont really care about rankings, in fact I would think it was pretty cool if my ratings were like 0.42 or something. That would rock!

Lol, and yes, I know there was a lot of randomness in this one, I maybe got a little carried away with the stutter effect!

Nice

Bit heavy for what I would consider ambient, but nice amount of randomness to the track.
I see this has been 0 voted already, which it doesn't deserve. It gets my 5. It's original and interesting to listen to. Worth a download.
Good stuff man, but not ambient.

dj-padman1 responds:

I'm flattered you enjoy it. The genre is a bit contentious, you have a good point, but I think it's more ambient than anything else.
Until they have an electronica/glitch category, I'm sticking songs like this here :)
I might have put it on miscellaneous, but this song didn't have enough samples of me going to the toilet to be competitive there. There was only 3.
Keep cool Amoeboy!
