I am not really sure what genre this is... There are so many different elements included, it's a mix of electro, jazz, piano music...

It is a bit hard to place... but it isn't anything Electronica. Just because you have the 8 bit drill sounds doesn't make it belong; but that isn't what I rated on. I'd say it is more like jazz-funk.

The song takes a bit to start then it gets going. But then it is like you decided to go in a different direction, then force the two directions together (they didn't even synch, so I can't say it fits into a jazz setting). Then suddenly, you go from something a bit up beat with rhythm, to just the bass line... and it sits there. It doesn't pick up from that, no, it gets dropped into something else; another style. At least this one did synch with the first beat, that you later integrated, it seemed more like, you were trying to force the song to be longer.

You need to find how to give things a more natural flow. And there is a style that you can have a certain instrument play a bit out of synch with the rest (I forgot what it is called) but this wasn't done like that; in that style, the other beat compliments the original. If you force it, it will show. Don't worry about the length, if it is short but sounds good, you will be able to improve and people will listen. But if it long and is crap, people won't care and you will only develop your skills in that direction. Not saying you won't be able to turn this around, but you aren't going the right direction with this.

It did have its good points; there are several points that you could make a good loop out of. Just don't force it, let it flow.
