Hey everyone, just thought I'd put up this version of a track I'm doing for an upcoming iOS game. I can't tell you too much about the game, but I WILL say that it involves vikings, and running. Lots of running. Think 'canabalt'. What do you guys think? I've kind of run out of ideas, and it's not really as long as I was hoping for...
This was made exclusively using software called 'musagi'. It's free.
This used to loop perfectly, and for some reason NewGrounds has decided not to let it any more. So, sorry about the crappy looping quality, I don't know why it's doing that. The actual audio file still loops just fine.
EDIT: I tried making a brand new NewGrounds audio upload and re-uploading the track and it STILL doesn't loop properly! But it does loop properly offline...

Awesome stuff. You mention it's for a Canabalt like game, which makes a lot of sense considering that's about the closest thing I can compare it to. Which, considering just how much I love Danny B's stuff, is quite a compliment.

Good stuff so far! I'd say go back to it in a day or two with fresh ears, the piece has a drop off at 35secs and is waiting to get built back up or pushed even further than the first time. Depending how long you want the finished piece don't worry about taking your time to build up again there's already a good momentum in there! Keep at it man.

Yeah, I agree, I was trying to cram as much ENERGY into this track as I could, and I think I got even more than I was expecting. Basically what I'm stuck on now is trying to think of a melody or two to extend the piece further, and have a piece with a few distinct sections separated by segments of the basic beat, like is currently at the 'end' of this version.
