Interesting track, but definitely not dubstep.
Love the ambiance- which I would say is the major focus of this track. In terms of genre however this would be closest to ambient progressive breakbeat (and even then it'd be off, imho).
-Excellent use of ambiance
-Great choice of samples/synths
-Echos don't exactly seem forced, however.... Ties in with one con
-Lack of EQ/Mastering. Things are drowned out unnecessarily and the song looses 'umf', if you get my drift
Keep up the good work though.
Hey man! Thanks for the constructive feedback, a friend of mine told me the same things I needed to work on lol. I'm still a beginner, but I'll get big into the dubstep scene on day!
I try to make original dubstep, back when dubstep wasn't being pillaged by idiot like Skrillex and Borgore, they're doing to dubstep like what Lil Wayne and Drake did to hip hop.
Check out: Loefah - The Goat Stare and V.I.V.E.K - Feel It, that's dubstep I try to follow.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
