Everlong Circles II

The goal for this was for a walking down the aisle song incorporating Everlong and Circles (Ocean Colour Scene). 30 seconds of something to let everyone know it's "time," then a dramatic entrance moment followed by about a minute of wedding walking down the aisle music.

With those goals in mind, tell me what you think!

this is a great piece! I wish it could have been longer, but I assume that the running length serves a purpose. the dynamics are there, and so is the great ending. you've utilized those two great songs and made them your own, in a good way (especially Foo Fighters; I'm a big Foos fan, and I'm *usually* critical on FF covers). I agree with Ewige though; that this piece would really shine through higher-quality samples, but the composition itself outshines the poor sample quality. that's a surefire sign of talent! =)

skyood responds:

Yeah, listening back to this little guy is part of what made me stop trying to do symphonic pieces, lol. Just can't pull it off very well with what I have.

And yes, you are correct, the running length was requested that long, just long enough for a walk down the aisle.

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!

cool tune. use higher-quality symphonic plugins))

skyood responds:

I know ... if I did this for anything more than a hobby I would find the money to do exactly that. At the moment, it's just not in the budget.

This is quite beautiful. I'm under the impression it might be used for a wedding as well? I think it would do great if it did! You really got some amazing talent.

I hope to hear more from you sometime. :]

skyood responds:

Yup, that's what it was written for ... in response to a request on the forums for walking-down-the-aisle wedding music.

Thanks for your kind words!

a very amazing track!! very beautiful arrangement and choice of sounds, i'm 100% sure this should fit the bill for Sentio...i can't even compete with this, it's breathtaking :) 5/5

skyood responds:

Wow, thanks for the kind words!

Shouldn't keep you from seeing what you can come up with though. Doo eet!

Beautiful. There are other's still producing work for the competition, but this is going to take some beating. I love how both songs are incorporated, and the sound and feel of it are absolutely perfect for the occassion. It's the first piece I've heard that I can really imagine on the big day, and my fiancee was almost in tears listening to it.

We'll see what else is produced in the next week, but I now know that the Newgrounds community has not let me down, and there is at least one track that I can use for the big day. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this.

I'd love to think that as more of the older NG members move on in their lives that I will not be the only one using the audio talent of this website for this purpose.

skyood responds:

I'm glad it works for you guys ... been married for over 8 years now (OMG I'm OLD!!), and am just excited at the idea of being able to contribute to your big day.
