I spent a long time working on this one. Most of the work was done early on before I hit writer's block and couldn't figure out where to go. Finally I reopened the project and ended with, what I believer to be, a strong finish. I really only added about 30 more seconds to this piece, but I feel it brings closure to the piece. I only wish I would have finished it in time for the orchestral MAC. Alas, here it is:

Advent of the Myriad Dawn.

When the strings first come in the sampling isn't all too great, the melody is awesome though. Then the part with the bells is excellent, I had a Fable shiver, then the following part to the end was pretty sweet too, I just feel with better sampling this piece would have had a better effect on me, plus there was no epic ending!

I'd like to say though I loved what you did with percussion and bells and the sampling sounded really nice for those two at least. Good job!

Thanks for the review!

I know what you mean about the sampling. It's low quality orchestral VST but it's the best for what my computer is capable of handling so I make due with what I have. Actually, it's funny that you mention getting a 'Fable shiver' because that's where the influence for the percussive part there came from. Sorry about the ending, I'd had this piece sitting around for a few months and I figured it was time to wrap things up so I could only sum up a few more measures of work. I'll consider doing a follow up piece with more emphasis on the epic.
