This song represents a quiet brilliance and a feeling of desperation that is caught quite well through (ironically) the bad quality of the mix. The only thing I would improve is the guitar, which would be a pretty quick fix since I believe all you need to do for the guitar is turn down it's volume in the mix.
Also, if you're using garageband or audacity, make sure that you understand that turning down the gain and urning down the volume are too very different things that produced two very different results. The same rule applies with compression, which in my opinion should only be used on drums.
i hear this honestly think of shadow of the colossus ya know start out in that big teple get new the exit and you see that big world
I can totally see that. :D
This slightly reminds me of Silent Hill's songs but much more unique. Really unique! I don't know how to categorize this either due to its uniqueness.
The song is really weird. It transmits me sadness and spookiness but, in the other hand, tranquillity and contentment. My kind of music!! :D
Nice work. Cheers, mate!
As a Silent Hill fan, that makes me happy.
As a musician, your interpretation also makes me happy.
It wasn't my intent to project sadness, spookiness, tranquility, and contentment, but that can't be a bad thing. With this, I didn't intend for much of anything actually. So I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the review!
A good tune it serves well as an ambient piece that i could certainly imagine drifting off too on a long car ride or just on one of those last afternoons. Glad to see you still putting stuff up man keep it up :)
Hey! I'm happy to see a review from you.
This was mostly the product of boredom in the midst of inspiration.
But I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully when I get a new preamp for my microphone I can start recording some really cool stuff. And I can kind of sing now :3
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
