NAC Judging:
It's pretty original but the melodies and the mood of the song are pretty dark, almost depressing, I wouldn't say it brings feelings of love toward the song but like...holy crap I wanna kill myself with this song...so as good as the song is, I don't think it respects the contest theme very well.

Fuck it. I wanted to hold on to this track for my album but I just can't stand not having put anything out yet this year. It's driving me crazy. I love sharing my work that I'm proud of and this has been bothering me since I finished it. Besides, I figure since newgrounds is pulling through with their redesign, I can post this in celebration. Also, I'm submitting this to Chrons Love Contest. You might ask "Quarl, what does this have to do with love?" Well, on valentine's day my girl friend is gonna be 1000 miles away. That means I get to spend time making love to my other girl frend. Her name is music. Fuck, I love composing things. I love syncopation and I love weird time signatures. I love dirty synths, clean pianos, gliding pads, hard drums and I love art. The title of the track is a reference towards The Fauves.
If any one want's to try mixing this into a DJ set the track starts at 182 BPM, chorus 157, then picks up to 175 and the ambient part at the end is 157. The end might mix weird because starting at 2:30 the time signature switches from 6/8 to 8/8 a lot. At 2:47 there's a count of 10/8. Starting at 3:19 the time signatures continuously change between 6/8, 8/8, 6/8, 12/8, 6/8, 8/8, 6/8 and finally 12/8. Basically, this song is unmixable. LET ME KNOW IF YOU TRY :D :D <3 <3 <3

Nice. Very fun to listen to. I loved the keys that played throughout the song. This would be a great song to dance to in a club in my opinion.

The backbeat that comes in seems a little bit random, doesn't really seem to fit any of the sounds going on before it. I do like the glitchy effects around 1:20, especially with the gritty sound from the beginning coming back in. Again, the backbeat around 2:00 seems out of place with everything that's going on; it sticks out too much in my opinion. The Skrillex-ey bass in the last third of the song fits with the backbeat a bit more, but the piano seems far out of place there. All in all, I'd rate this piece at
7/10 for continuity
8/10 for actual composition
6/10 for catchiness
The piece in general doesn't really catch my attention other than how some parts just seem juxtaposed against other parts that don't really work together. However, I do have to admit that you did a good job mastering it :)

Hmmm, I've been wanting to review this for a while. But whatever.
Love your mastering and stuff, and the BPM and Time Signature changes are awesome too! Actually, I liked most of the song, BUT... I didn't quite like is that bass, you should up the low end and cut the high end a little. And maybe add liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle reverb on the bass, just to make the track more live (if you get me).
Other then that, I love it! Hope to see more of you soon :)

Your frequency placement is great and you did a terrific job on the mastering, but I thought your bass could've used a bit of work. I want to hear it cutting through the song, but it muddies up your drums.
I'd explain how to do it, but from hearing your music you already know how ;)
