Opposite ends of the spectrum
PiGPEN was more entertaining. Stayed on the backpack rapper tip too much. Also didn't seem like he took it too seriously.
Blest came harder in this battle than ever. Really fast rapping doesn't work very well, but the rhymes were dope.
Vote goes to Blest, only because he took it seriously.
Awesome battle, Pigpen owns with the entertainment value and Blest has some damn good punches too. I'd have to give it to Pig but both did a great job.
Pigpen doesn't sound great on this beat though, sounds too silent with his relaxed flow and a quiet beat too.
Nice punches from Pig, I prefer Blest however. Good stuff.
What a blessing!
PiGPen: Comedy style. The calm/relaxed delivery was refreshing; the confidence he brings in is great. He definitely brings a lot of character into the battle. Whitest swag on NG. Though his material was rather original, some of the rhymes were a bit too simple.
Blest: Lyricism, lyricism, lyricism. The energy he had throughout was dope. The rebuttals were insane. I lol'd at the 3 douche bags vs. Gasmasq line. The adlibs were really well executed. This is some of the best I've heard from Blest.
I'm gonna give this one to Blest for the complexity of his flows. PiGPen's verse were a bit more accessible, and the more simple lyrics have that appeal, but Blest's skills killed it.
Great battle, wouldnt be surprised if this one goes down to the wire.
Blest came harder, nicer, and his punches stung his opponent. Pigpen to me seemed like he was lazy on the mic, and just fooled around. Pig's verses were great, just not great enough. Blest FTW!
