The Greek underworld, specifically the area where the soul first passes when the body has died. Tone poem of sorts that brings you to the depths to witness hellish marches and the sad certainty of fate for these specters.

Cookies if you spot the Wagner reference...

You are one of my faves on NG

You have one of the most unique voices here on this site. Please keep up the good work.
You made a reference in one of my other reviews about using GPO. I do use it and love it, feeling it sounds just as good (if not a little more realistic) that other libraries at 4 times the price. You use GPO very well.

I couldn't spot the Wagner reference, but I suspect its at 2:15, just not sure the source. Great work.

I'm not cultured enough to spot the reference

But I am familiar with music enough to spot an epic score, and this right here is epic. The mix of emotion in the piece is what gets me, it matches exactly with the scenario you described. The instrumentation is absolutely beautiful. The one single small complaint I have is that the ending isn't really "climactic". It doesn't bring closure, if you know what I mean. Otherwise, excellent work! 10/10 5/5!

i agree about the ending - thanks for the kind words.
